| Personal History | Tony Johnson was born on Earth to Tony and Adele Johnson. Both of his parents served in Starfleet, but due to the strain with ending up on different assignments they soon ended up divorced in 2348. Following in his parents footsteps, Tony decided to attended Starfleet Academy where studied in security and tactical field. Upon graduating in 2359, Johnson's first assignment was aboard the USS Ohio. On his first assignment Tony worked hard to learn his new position. Two years later he was promoted lieutenant junior grade, where he was given more responsibilities. Also around this time, Johnson began a relationship with one of the ships counselor Diana Morrison. The relationship continued on for about four years, but when Tony accepted a promotion on a new assignment Diana wanted to get married. Wanting to focus on his career, Johnson ultimately ended the relationship and moved on. On the USS Ahwahee, Lieutenant Johnson got right to work as the Chief of Security/Tactical. With using strict and fair tactics, Tony turned around his new department aboard the Cheyenne class vessel. The two years on board was so great that he wanted to do everything in his power to stay. In 2367, the USS Ahwahee was dispatched with 39 other ships to engage a Borg cube heading for Earth. After the complete destruction of all the ships involved, Johnson and a few others who managed to get escape in shuttles and escape pods headed to safety. Weeks after the whole ordeal with the Borg, Johnson and several others were taken to Starfleet Tactical to give a briefing on their encounter with the Borg. A few of the tactical officers who survived the battle were reassigned to Utopia Planetia Fleet Yards development team to work on methods on dealing with the Borg. Tony was assigned to the Weapons and Tactics portion of the team. Four years later Tony grew tired of doing the same thing day in and day out. Wanting to return back to a Starship assignment he placed his name in for a position on the USS Kumari. Two weeks later, he received word that he was approved. As year into his assignment on the USS Kumari, Tony felt that he needed a change in career if he was to command his own ship one day. Deciding to take advantage of his minor degree in Operations, the Lieutenant returned to Starfleet Academy. Towards the end of this training, Tony was informed that he was accepted into the next Command Training class. After spending sometime away Tony has returned to the USS Kumari as the Chief Operations Officer, along with a promotion to Lieutenant Commander. Too much of his surprise most of the people he served with initially on the Excelsior class has been reassigned. After spending some time back aboard the Kumari, Tony realized that he missed working in the security field. When a position came open aboard the Resolution, Johnson jumped at the opportunity to get back into security. During his time on the Resolution, Tony rekindled his relationship with the counselor Diana Morrison. After a year on board the Resolution, Starfleet Intelligence offered him an opportunity to infiltrate the Maquis. Due to the fact that his younger brother was already a member, he could use that as a way to get in. Before leaving Diana offered to join the undercover mission as well to help make the mission more realistic. The two quickly found themselves infiltrating the Maquis and no one suspected a thing. During the mission Tony proposed to Diana and the two ended up getting in married. Six months later the Cardassian Union was on a downward spiral and it appeared that the Maquis was about to win the conflict. Starfleet Intelligence alerted Tony and Diana to a possible threat. Diana returned to Federation space immediately, while Tony attempted to get his younger brother Daniel to leave with him. It was during this time when Cardassia declared his membership within the Dominion and attacked multiple Maquis worlds and outpost. Within a three-day period, the Maquis were no more, other than a handful of survivors. Tony and Daniel barely managed to get away in and spent the better part of a week evading Dominion forces. It was during this time that Daniel realized his brother's betrayal. The two went blows on the ship. But after the fight the two talked it out when Tony stated that he would rather see him incarcerated for a few years than to end up dead. Upon returning to the Resolution, Lieutenant Commander Johnson was reassigned as Chief Strategic Operations in preparation for the impending war with the Dominion. |
