| Personal History | Diana also known "Di was born in Conn on Earth into a medical family. Both her parents Justin and Maria were both well known surgeon's throughout the Federation. It was no wonder she and her brother chose to join the medical field. While her older brother Immanuel went off to become a Doctor, Di chose to join Starfleet and pursue a career in Counseling, due for her love of space travel and having an extreme interest in working with the mind. After graduating from the Academy, Diana was assigned to Starfleet Medical where she furthered her education. After her time there, Diana was reassigned to the USS Ohio. During this time, she began a relationship with Tony Johnson The two were together for quite sometime, until Tony accepted an assignment to another ship. This caused the relationship to come to an end. A few years later Diana found herself reassigned to the USS Sunrider a medical ship. This assignment consisted of her dealing with multiple personnel dealing with quite a bit of trauma. This also allowed her to work with the Bajoran people as well who were just getting rid of the Cardassians. In 2370, both her parents died in accident and Diana found herself returning back to Earth to handle their Estate. It was during this time that Di wondered if she was really making much of a difference in Starfleet versus helping people in a civilian aspect. It was this that lead the Lieutenant to take a leave of absence from Starfleet for two years. Now after taking a much needed time off, Diana is ready to return to Fleet duty. Di was assisting at the Utopia Planetia Shipyards when her orders arrived for the USS Resolution, which recently completed its refit. During his time on the Resolution, Diana rekindled her relationship with the Chief Security Officer Tony Johnson. After a year on board the Resolution, Starfleet Intelligence offered Tony an opportunity to infiltrate the Maquis. Due to the fact that his younger brother was already a member, he could use that as a way to get in. Before leaving Diana offered to join the undercover mission as well to help make the mission more realistic. The two quickly found themselves infiltrating the Maquis and no one suspected a thing. During the mission Tony proposed to Diana and the two ended up getting in married. Six months later the Cardassian Union was on a downward spiral and it appeared that the Maquis was about to win the conflict. Starfleet Intelligence alerted Tony and Diana to a possible threat. Diana returned to Federation space immediately, while Tony attempted to get his younger brother Daniel to leave with him. Upon getting back to the Resolution, Ltjg. Diana Morrison returned to the counseling Department back as the Assist Chief Counselor. |
