Well I had a surprise today. We’ve been without an Assistant Chief Medical Officer for a while, and starfleet don’t seem to be in a hurry to provide us with one. Such as it is I’ve been promoted to the position, until such time as we have one assigned.

I have to say I’m looking forward to the challenge, I just hope I can prove to the Captain that his faith in me is well placed.
