Captains Log: Earth Arrival

Captains Log...

The Resolution has made it back to Earth, thankfully without incident to our people on Lantea. repairs to the systems and the necessary replacements were done quickly once we found out what we were actually dealing with. Which turned out to be a rudimentary form of AI... Operations and engineering was able to isolate the program for study, and brought it onboard where they assured me that it is safe. The damage done to the ship, was negligible, although injuries were sustained when we arrived in their system.

For the time being, the ships crew has been granted leave. I have been told however that this will not be a lengthy one, as the war efforts do call on every able ship, and crew. There are rumblings of the fleet assembling in the Toberon Sector. A region of space which is sought after by both sides, due to the strategic location of the supply routes, and easy access to some resources that both sides do require. But we have been given a few days before our full debrief... if the rumours are true... then in the next few days, the crew could face their biggest challenge yet as a crew. Whatever the truth is... I know we can pull through it.

On a personal note. Being here on Earth gives Tal and I, as well as sky to meet up with Tal'vi. It seems like years since we last say him, it will be Skys first time meeting her step son.
