Engineering update

Mission:
The Mentarin Effect
Location: Main engineering
Timeline: Before ritual
Walking into the engineering bay, Xavier looked around. Everything was sprawled out around the floor, which was good, indication that the manufacturing of the equipment for the planet were underway.
James had been trying to get a handle on things since it seemed that someone wanted to turn his main engineering into a factory. True the planet needed their help but this was more then a little ridiculous. "Ensigns Hallway and Franks I want you to go down to shuttle bay 3 and move those shuttles to the main bay. I also want you to move the cargo on bays 4 and 5 into cargo bay 2 we are going to take over those three areas to facilitate this manufacturing mess. If operations gives you any crap over it you send them to see me got it.". Said James firmly he watched as the two ensigns literally ran out of main engineering. "Stupid bureaucratic fleet bs," muttered James as he sidestepped yet another pallet of parts. He did not even see the captain until he was right beside him.
" sir what can I do for you?". Asked James much more calmly then he really felt
"Using the cargobays is probably a good idea lt." Xavier replied upon hearing the order. "I will make sure no issues arise when it comes to that. As this is top priority."
Geiger had been called to the engineering bay by the Captain and had been unsure as to why. While he was more into weapons and research, he was still an engineer through and through. The mess of the bay didn't catch him off guard. He had seen a lot of messy bays over the year, even if it was rare. "You asked for me, Sir?" the Trill asked as he stepped next to the Captain. He nodded at Lieutenant Wayne in greeting.
"Yes, just coming to check. I know we have the priority locations dealt with, how much time left til we have everything done and sent down to the planet."
"We've been actively engaging to get everything done. We've been utilizing most of the machine shops to try to get everything done. We've gotten everyone on it so far. We've made it about three quarters of the way through the necessary items," Geiger said.
"So that would explain the restrictions on certain systems. Keep up the pace Lt. We are almost done here, any idea how long?"
Geiger thought for a moment before responding to make sure he had the most accurate information. "About five more hours, Sir."
"Very well, then I best not keep you guys, if you need anything just communicate with me, and it will be approved... dealing with this anyway, not anything else of course." He turned. "Contact me when its complete." Walking out the door he headed back to the bridge.
