Mission:
The Lost Brother
Location: Quarters
Timeline: prior to check up with Tal and Tony
Xavier had a long day on shift, with everything going on now currently, it was rough to say the least, and as he entered he noticed the uniform on the floor. It was much too big for Sky.
"Tal? You are home?" He called out.
Tal walked up to him, bent down and kissed him. "Yeah, after some insistance and promises to Doc RJ, he agreed."
"Make sure you keep your promises."
Tal nodded. "Don't I always listen."
"Depends on what being said."
Tal said nothing, just smiled and walked away.
"Listen I want to apologize, it was my fault that this happened. I beamed over the toxin... over to the bridge which caused you to collapse. Mind you most races that come in contact don't usually have an adverse reaction save for plugging up the nose."
"I know you would never put us in harm, and it was a good strategy." Tal replied as she turned to face him. "This is not your fault, it was an experience we all learned something from. Besides, it was a harmless prank. Ive read up on it. I will need to contact Shal'Ti at the academy, and warn him of the prank that goes on there."
Xavier eyes widened. "Shit... I did that prank myself... in the academy."
"So I read... caused the evacuation of the entire south wing of the academy."
Smirk came across his face... "by the time they figured out it was me, I was already gone."
"Doctor said, I will have trouble exercising without getting winded for a few days, sore throat, and all that... but there is no permanent damage. He even working on a hypo in case it happens again."
"He was mentioning something as he was working on you, we got down there, sky and I, while you were unconscious."
"Sky told me, I get why you had to remain at your post while I was out. CO is a lot different than XO, or any other position."
"Being in a throuple is adventagous."
Tal walked over. "It does absolutely, but even if we weren't. We both knew the centre seat was your destiny. That changes would be bound to come our way." She nodded. "We just have to make time even better. With us, with me and Sky, with you and Sky, and when the baby arrives."
"Glad you agree. Now what do you want."
Tal grinned. "You know what I want. "Five steaks, three chickens, and four lobsters."
"Glad we have a lot of food stored away." Xavier replied as he took the order.
"Then you can have me for desert." Tal smirked as she whipped her tail around.
Xavier smiled at that... nothing ever changed her mindset.
