Mission: Traitor amongst us?

USS Kumari

Kayleigh stormed into Kas' quarters with tears in her eyes. She could not believe what was happening to her and her family again and the message her mother had just given her. She badly needed her boyfriend now.

Kas stepped out of the bathroom shirtless in a towel, "Kayleigh? What is it?"

"I'm being transferred." There were tears streaming down her face now. Against my will!" She jumped into his arms regardless of what he looked like.

Kas wrapped his arms around her and let her cry, he waited patiently for her to explain.

"My brothers have been attacked and they think the rest of the family is in danger and they want as many of us in one safe place as they can." She sniffed.

"I will call Admiral Bryce to see if I get a transfer as well." Kas said.

"You would, oh thank you. I can't lose you now. Not now I have just found you."

"We will see each other again regardless," Kas said. "I'll see what can we done."

"Yes. From what I gathered they want us to go as soon as possible. With dad being so weak it must be really serious or they would not try to move him now."

"I will see if the captain will allow me to transport you and your family myself."

"I think they are sending someone from the Resolution. But I hope you will join us." Her world was falling apart around her ears and she needed some support.

"We will see what can be done"

"Thank you. I love you." She said still holding on to him.
