Mission: Traitor amongst us?
Location: Sickbay
Timeline: During Sky’s 24 hrs in Sickbay

Tal had heard about Skys 24 hrs in security, and being there usually meant that she would see her there, but now she was in Sickbay which had her concerned. "So hows everything?" Tal asked even before turning the corner as she approached.

Sky smiled as she saw Talsi. “Everything is...about as okay as it’s going to get at the moment. Rutherford wants me to spend 24 hours, just to make sure I’m okay.”

"A full 48 hours without you... What did Commander Wagnor do to you?"

“Maybe my trip into his head brought out my bad side!” Sky couldn’t help but grin. “Seriously though, it’s not Ren it’s...” She paused motioning for Talsi to sit with her. “It’s what happened with Nick, I haven’t been able to get his attack on me out of my head. I’ve never been assaulted by a patient before.”

"The baby?" Talsi asked

“She’s just fine. Both Rutherford and Pix confirmed that one.” Sky shrugged her shoulders. “it’s just my blood pressure that’s throwing a tizzy.”

Tal walked over and sat next to her finally. "I have learned when someone has gone through dire stress... all they want is out. They don't care how. If he really wanted to hurt you, he would have."

Sky nodded. “I know, it’s just come as quite a shock, more than I was expecting.” She gently took hold of Talsi’s hand. “Nick has apologised, we’ve even talked since then.”

"I knew you wouldn't stay away."

“Probably didn’t help my blood pressure much though.” Sky shrugged her shoulders. “I had to be there for the official questioning, I was needed. Tony tells me we have a couple of Counsellor’s coming onboard soon, family members of hers. It’ll be a big help, take some pressure off.”

"That will be good." Tal replied.

“It’ll give me more time at home with you and Xavier. Speaking of which I need to get the nursery finished off. It’s only partially painted, then I need to have the crib I found moved in. Plus buy a few more supplies, taking extra time off will come in handy.”

"I hear sex while pregnant for betazoids is just as good if not better than when not."

Sky couldn’t help but grin at that comment, glad no one was in earshot to hear it. “That’s true, though sex close to the due date has been known to help induce labour. Though how true that is, I don’t know.”

"Can't wait to try."

Sky grinned. “I don’t think Rutherford would appreciate hearing that right now, resting is resting. Not that I’d ever refuse you Tal.”

"I have no issues with being told no..."

“I know that Tal” Sky smiled as she kissed Talsi’s hand. “You’re a wonderful person I’ve come to care for, and love very much.”

"I do know I am a lot to handle."

“You, are just you” Sky grinned. “I wouldn’t change you for the world.”

"Which world are you talking about, there are millions."

Sky grinned. “All of them Tal, every single blessed one of them! You’re unique and I love you just as you are.”

"Well... thats good to know." Tal replied. "Is there anything you need?"

Sky paused and looked around. “I don’t think so, Tony dropped off what I asked for so I’m good. I’ll miss cuddling up to both of you tonight though.”

"We will miss it as well... don't worry." Tal replied kissing her gently.

Returning the kiss Sky offered a warmer smile. “I won’t, if I do Rutherford will shoot me!”

"He would only create another patient."

Sky laughed. “I was kidding Tal, Rutherford has been wonderful and so has Pix.”

"Ah... then that is good." She stood. "I shall let you rest. Since it is what the doctor ordered."

Sky nodded. “Thank you Tal, I guess I’ll see you at some point tomorrow.”
