Mission: Traitor amongst us?

Soran got up and moved to Tony's side, he silently offered her his arm.

Feeling a bit unsteady she took his arm gratefully. This was not the time to be too proud. Not after how she had behaved today. "Thanks." Tony whispered.

"You're welcome," Soran said. "I'll be needed with the evacuation soon, Speaking of which my quarters have been temporarily given to a family for transport so I guess I'll be with you. I'll do my best to give you the space you need for grief."

She nodded. "I guess it may be a good idea that I am not alone right now. I don't feel very steady yet, Ren." She admitted. "As if my head is stuffed with cotton and I have a headache." She really held on to him for balance.

Soran helped her into the lift, "let's get you settled. I've had my things sent your quarters, I'll have my hands full for the next twenty hours or so."

"That's ok. I think I will sleep a lot for the next day or so. I am totally exhausted, Ren."

"I can also sleep in my office if you need more space," he said as he help her out of lift.

"No! Please. I want you close. I need someone with me." Tony pleaded. "That is if you can bear to be around me while I am grieving."

"Of course, whatever you need." Soran said as he led Tony down the hall to her quarters.

"I don't know what I would do without you, Ren." She said gratefully. "Can you forgive me for shouting at you today?"

"You are forgiven, grief often takes us to difficult places." He just turned on the cheek as they entered her quarters.

She leaned into him. "Thanks love. Just one thing, never fiddle with my door codes again."

"I don't say never, but I'll try to find better solutions in the future." Soran kissed her forehead. "Let's get you settled."

"Ok." She let him lead her to the bedroom." Did you bring your stuff?"

"Everything from my quarters is currently here or in my office, I had a technician adjust the sonic shower." Soran said. " He set the computer to default to your settings, so there won't be any nasty surprises for you."

"You are the best, Ren." Tony was grateful to sit down on the bed. Her head was still feeling far from right. "I think I may sleep for a while now."

"I'll try not to disturb you when I return," Soran said.

"Thank you." Tony smiled at him but she did not even see him go out as she was asleep when her head hit the pillow.
