Preliminary Telepath Fix

Mission: Starship Side Quest
Location: Commander Stoffels' Office
Timeline: After 'Psych Time Bomb"

Alisa had mostly righted herself. However, because the Telepath had barraged her, Alisa knew that she needed to see someone in counseling regarding that incident. While no data had really been retrieved, Alisa was still weakened. She definitely wasn't her normal self. Having Xystos there though, that helped. It wasn't enough and she'd still need to seek out the counselor proper when she was released from medical leave.

In the meantime, she figured she could continue getting the path righted for her. She pressed the chime on the commander's office door and waited for the call. After it came, she walked through the threshold. "Commander. Thanks for seeing me."

"No problem, major. You and I haven't had a chance to really get to know each other." She waved at one of the chairs. "Please have a seat."

The Betazed moved over to one of the chairs that the Commander had indicated. "No, we haven't. If it hasn't been one thing lately, it been another." The comment was strictly due to the fact they went from a snail's pace where she was on her undercover investigation to a planet evacuation with hostility concerns. Before the dust settled from that, it was go time.

"Indeed." Tony let out a small sigh. She could do with a slower pace and less problems. "So, tell me a bit more about yourself. Oh do you want anything to drink?"

"Chamomile lavender lemon tea, please. While I normally snub that type of tea, it's been quite a reprieve after that last mission." Alisa thought for a moment and smirked at the icky feeling she used to get when she drank it. When her mental faculties were all good, it was the most disgusting thing to her. When they weren't, it was the first thing she sought out. "About me, I'm the commanding officer of the marine squad assigned to the ship. Most of my marine background is in weapons, sniper rifles, and general combat. These last couple of years had me undercover for marine intelligence services. Now, I'm here with a squad for situations were additional muscle is necessary."

"That's a huge change." Tony said as she got two cups of tea ready and handed Alisa hers. "Undercover work is not easy, and lonely. Commanding a squad is a big change. How are you getting on? And I hope Kay is helping you as much as she can."

A slight nod of her head showed gratitude for the tea. "Yes, she's learning her way in the dynamics the marines provide. I wasn't the only marine undercover, so it wasn't that terribly lonely. It was a heck of a sting operation though. It's been nice that it's over and my husband having the whithersoever to having gotten stationed aboard for the time being."

"I did not know your husband was on board as well." Tony wondered how she had missed that. But it had been very busy and she was handling two full time jobs at the moment.

"It was right before the four hundred or so marines came aboard. He was here when I arrived, and has been holed up busy in Intelligence ever since," Alisa commented.

"I think I was on sickleave then." Tony said. "I will put in on my calendar to meet your husband as well. Soooo, the mission, how did it go for you?"

Alisa smiled at the thought of her husband and him getting to meet the commander, then she sobered up quite quickly when the mention of the mission happened. "All things considered," she started to comment as she fidgeted with the mug in her hands, "it went well. All things considered set aside, it was a complete clusterfuck, excuse my language. I opened myself to try to scan for Gilohesh and managed to not put my walls back up, and a telepath got in, a sinister one; one that was having fun, well, the opposite of fun."

Tony listened and watched the woman in front of her, now picking up much more signs. "How are you now? Honestly?" She asked softly.

"Still settling the jumbledness," Alisa commented. "Xystos has helped ground me since being back and I was able to get sedated immediately afterwards. The training we have on Betazed for attacks and such is still there, I just need to rehone the abilities as I've never really had my mental walls down like that before. I'd like to say it was a rooky mistake but we know that it wasn't," the Major commented.

"You seem to know what you have to do to get yourself back up to speed." tony said. "That is important and you have support. If you need my help please let me know."

"I definitely will. I appreciate it, Commander," the Major replied.
