Tony stood outside the airlock waiting for the Assistant Chief Counselor to arrive. Years ago the two had served together. But to the nature of Starfleet worked out the two ended up on different assignments and the relationship they had came to an abrupt ending. The strangest thing happened the last time Tony was on Earth for training. Diana and himself ran into each other at a local café. Before he realized it, the two had gotten back together.

The door to the airlock opened as several personnel and their families entered the ship. Among the crowd was Diana Morrison carrying her luggage. Spotting Tony, she couldn’t help but to starting grinning ear to ear. Rushing through the crowd, she dropped her bag as she jumped into his arms and embraced him. The two shared a kiss that seemed to last for several minutes.

Placing Diana back down, Tony smiled down at the smaller woman. “Glad to see you two Di.” He reached down and picked up her bags.

“You should be,” the counselor joked. “I didn’t realize just how big this ship was until we got close enough to dock.”

“Trust me, its going to seem a lot bigger to you once you walk around this place. I still haven’t had the chance to check this entire place out in person.”

“Have you had a chance to meet any of the senior staff?” Morrison asked.

“Not everyone has arrived yet,” Tony answered. “Got a chance to meet with Captain Reeves as he was leaving. Made it a point to swing by the security office to meet me.”

Diana raised an eyebrow. “Sounds interesting.”

“He just wanted to see the office once last time and wish me luck. He’s taking command of the USS Bryggen a Norway class.”

The two reached her quarters. Diana entered the code, followed by the two entered. “Its bigger than the last quarters I had on my last assignment.”

“You should see my place,” Tony laughed. “Everything is bigger on this ship. We should definitely meet later at Ten Forward for dinner.”

“Alright, lets meet there in about three hours,” Morrison suggested. “That will give me a chance to unpack, then swing by the counseling office to check in.”

“Sounds like a plan.”
