Mission: The Lost Brother
Location: Quarters
Timeline: a little while after getting anwsers

Tony decided to seek Sky out to see how she was feeling after what had gone down in sickbay and how she felt about Xavier and she vetoeing her plans.

After events in Sickbay Sky had retreated to the treehouse bedroom in the jungle set quarters she shared with Xavier and Talsi. She didn’t understand why Pix would feel so strongly about simply meditation with Ren.

"Sky are you in?" Tony asked as she waited in the living room. She did not feel comfortable going deeper into the quarters.

Having sensed a familiar presence Sky made her way down from the bedroom to greet her friend. “Come in Tony, I was expecting you to show up sooner or later.”

"How are you? I am so sorry I had to go against you and Ren. But I could not ignore Pix. She really has a knack for finding out when things are not right."

Sky shrugged her shoulders. “I trust Pix, but I don’t understand why she’s against meditation? Ren knows what he’s doing, and meditation is, in most cases, beneficial.” She massaged her temples, having developed a headache in the last few minutes.

"Yes he does. But she doesn't think so and she doesn't talk. So we need to get to the bottom of this before you proceed. I am not saying no forever just for now. Are you ok?" Tony was worried.

Sky waved off Tony’s concern. “Just a headache, it’s nothing to worry about.” She offered a smile. “Was Ren alright when you went after him? I don’t want him to think I don’t trust him.”

"Oh don't worry it is not you he is mad at." Tony said then moved on to Sky's physical health.

"I do worry about your headaches, Sky. We don't want to cause the baby distress. Come why don't you have a lie down and try to relax."

“I’ve done nothing but relax since I accidentally got into Ren’s mind!” Sky sighed. “Every time I close my eyes I’m back in there! Hence why I was hoping Ren could help me.”

"And he still may but not before we figure out why Pix is worried. You would say the same if you were thinking clearly."

Sky nodded. “You’re right, I’m not thinking clearly, am I?” She sighed. “Pix has so much more experience with her abilities, she’s powerful for her small stature. I should listen to what she has to say.”

"we should. And she loves you, I am sure that she will help us come up with a plan that does work." Tony sighed. "If only Ren would believe that I have not turned against him."

“I’m sure he’ll come round” Sky offered Tony an understanding smile. “He knows you’re his friend, and that you care about him. Just give him time.”

"Yeah. And Sky. He I won't break confidence but he is going to need a lot of therapy and quickly."

Sky nodded. “Trust me I know. I can’t say what I saw in his head, but I know what a toll it’s taking.”

"Good. And if you need my help don't hesitate. I worked with him for a long time and we have been good friends after that."

Sky offered Tony a smile. “I don’t suppose you have any miracle cures for nightmares, do you?”

"I wish I did. I think he has let his routines slip. He really was doing much better. I am shocked to be honest at his lack of control right now."

“Actually I wasn’t talking about Ren” Sky offered a brief smile. “I’m having nightmares too. Hence why I was looking forward to the meditation, to hopefully help settle things down.”

"I am not surprised. And I really hope you can start with the meditation soon. Meanwhile we can try the massage again?"

Sky nodded. “It was relaxing last time, I seriously need to learn to listen to my own advice. I give patients advice on nightmares, but I don’t use it myself.”

"Most therapists are that way." Tony said. Believe me, even the admirals. Now why don't you get comfy and I will replicate some oil."

“Okay” Sky smiled and nodded, making herself comfortable on the sofa she waited for Tony to come back with the massage oil.

"If you like I can do this for you every evening. Or... you could ask Xavier." She grinned as she started to heat up the oil.

“Now that would turn into a lot more than a simple oil massage!” Sky grinned a wry grin. “One touch from Xavier drives me crazy!”

"Too much information, Sky." Tony laughed. "But I have been told that that can be very relaxing as well."

Sky grinned and nodded. “Indeed. To be honest I never thought I’d be involved with a married couple, but I love it.”

"Whatever works for you." And she meant it. "I just could not see myself do it. I think I would get jealous."

“Funnily enough that’s what I was worried about” Sky shrugged her shoulders. “I haven’t found myself getting jealous at all, with Tal working late shifts I get time alone with Xavier, as well as time alone with Tal when she’s home.”

"So you..." Tony shook her head. "Forget it that is too personal."

“No, please... ask your question” Sky offered a warm smile.

"Well...uhm, do you and Tal... you know or are you both just in love with Xavier?" Tony blushed.

Sky offered Tony a smile. “Tal & I make love just as I do with Xavier. The logistics are different obviously, but it’s a relationship in which the three of us partake with each other.”

"Right." Tony still had a slightly difficult relationship with Tal and just couldn't picture it.

Sky gave her friend a curious look. “Still finding it hard to get along with Tal? Is there anything I can do?”

"I know it is me. And I am trying. It's just that our characters don't match at all."

Sky nodded. “Not everyone gets along Tony, I wouldn’t worry. Tal does take some getting used to.”

"And I am trying. I have the feeling it is hard on her that I have difficulty adjusting to her. That is one of the reasons I am trying so hard."

Tal will understand Tony, don’t worry about that.” Sky offered an understanding smile.

"I hope so. The last thing I want is to be thought of as a bigot. I really thought that was not me and yet. " She looked very pensive.

“Hey...” Sky placed her hand on Tony’s. “Stop worrying about it, I haven’t heard Tal complain.”

"Ok. Maybe it is just me then. I tend to worry about things like that. You would think I would have outgrown it by now."

“We all worry, I know I do!” Sky grinned. “Don’t let it get you down.”

"I am trying. I hope this thing with Ren works out. I can't stand the thought of him being mad at me."

“He’s mad at you?” Sky was surprised. “I guess he thinks you’re against him learning me meditation. I was disappointed too, would you like me to talk to him about it?”

"He is mad I did not take your side. But I was the XO in there. I had to take the decision that more tests are needed before we go on with that. I thought that was the best command decision and what I was supposed to do."

Sky nodded. “I understand your concerns, all I was talking about was Ren teaching me meditation. No touching of minds, or anything like that. Just meditation.”

"Yeah but why did Pix object? She processes things differently than we do. And if she senses danger I want to get to the bottom of it before people get hurt."

Sky nodded. “That’s true, she does. Perhaps it’s because Pix doesn’t know Soran very well, he does come across as a tough person. We both know he’s different.”

"Yes and since Pix can't talk I want to know what she meant first. Is that so wrong?"

Sky shook her head. “No, of course not Tony. It’s sensible to listen to what Pix has to tell us.”

"Thanks. I was second guessing myself. Command is still so new to me."

“Have Faith in yourself Tony” Sky smiled. “You’ve earned your position, enjoy it.”

"Thank you. That means a lot. I am not at the enjoyment stage yet though."

“It’ll come eventually Tony.” Sky smiled she was relaxing as Tony did her massage while they talked. “I appreciate the massage treatment too.”

"Any time. That is something I am good at." She grinned.

“You are most definitely right there” Sky grinned too.
