What to Wear?

Tony walked up to the door of Diana's quarters. It was twenty minutes before the dinner that was scheduled for the senior staff and their families. The event was casual, so Tony opted to wear a black long sleeve dress shirt with grey slacks. Reaching the door, Tony pressed the chime and waited to be called in. This didn't take long as he was instructed to enter the quarters. Standing in the middle of the room was Diana in her bra and panties simply staring at two hanging dresses.

"Babe is there a reason why your not dressed yet?"

Diana simply sighed in frustration. "I know this is supposed to be a casual event, but I am not trying to make a bad first impression either. Been away from Starfleet for two years now."

"If you want my opinion, I'm definitely feeling that sexy black dress," Johnson suggested.

"You don't think its revealing too much cleavage or too short?" the counselor inquired. "Because the red dress goes down to the ankles."

"Trust me the black dress is fine. But whatever you decide to wear, I suggest you make the decision quickly because I am getting excited over here just staring at you." Walking up behind Diana, he wrapped his arms around her. "Way too much temptation in this room."

"I'm here with a problem and here you are trying to help yourself," Di chuckled. "What am I supposed to do with you?"

"Give in to my charms," he joked.

"Whatever. Give me a few minutes to get dress." Grabbing both dresses, Diana left to the bedroom.

Tony walked around the living room, observing the photos that Di set up already. She had completely unpacked and decorated her quarters, while most of his things were still in crates. The Security Chief was surprised to see that Diana had kept the old photos of them. Most women would have deleted these photos after a breakup. But as if she knew that they would eventually get back together. Tony made a mental note to take the time to get his own place unpacked and settled in.

A few minutes later Diana came out of the bedroom fully dressed. She watched as Tony looked over the photos on the shelf. Smiling to herself, Diana grabbed a camera and moved in closer. "We can't leave without getting a few photos in."

"Who am I to argue with that."

Diana setup the camera, then walked back over as the two posed for the camera. A few minutes later, they were done and ready to head out the door. Even though she was a tad nervous, Diana would do her best to relax and enjoy the evening. It was a casual event after all.

After several photos were taken the two made their way out the door and down the corridor. The two were relatively quiet on their way to the reception. Not only were they about to meet the members of all the senior staff at one time. But they would also be walking through those doors as a couple. Even though they were individuals, they would also be very much representing each other. As the arrived outside the room, Diana smiled up at Tony. "You ready for this?"

"But of course," Tony answered with a hug grin on his face. "There's no once else I would rather walk through those doors with."
