Maybe there is something...

Mission:
The Mentarin Effect
Location: Captains ready room
Timeline: Current
Cameron sat in the centre seat, staring down at the planet, he was pissed, a Captains place was on his ship, not on away teams, definately not the first one without a lay of the land done. Which would have been led by him. But being overruled... he didn't have a choice. Commander Kane was off doing her thing, whatever that was, so here he was.
"Anything out of the ordinary? Any signs of klingon vessels." He asked as he looked towards tactical.
Tal went over scans once again. "None Commander."
"Keep scanning, they frequent this space as well as we do Lt."
Tal sighed, and left her post, walked over around the railing and sat down next to him, "Ready room now."
Cameron paused before raising an eyebrow, within a moment however, his wrist was wrapped around and he was being lead into the captains office. "Not here Lt, and this is definitely not the time."
"My love that is not what I have brought you here for. Perhaps one day, on your own ship. But this is not your ship, this is his ship and you have to respect his wishes. And follow his orders." Tal replied letting his wrist go. "You asked three times for scans in ten minutes, when you know the automated system would detect one if one were to approach."
Cameron paused as he sat down. "Perhaps wanting to lead so badly." He looked up at her. "You are right. There is more i can do than just wait for a detailed mission."
"See..." Tal replied bending over taking his hand. "Sometimes being the Captain means you take risks, not just staying on ship. He knew what he was doing."
Cameron thought about the captains service record. He was never one to remain on ship, he always had to be part of the action. It was something that he too would be doing within his own command. "Hand me the padd that's on the desk over there."
Tal reached over with her tail, grabbed the padd and handed it to him.
"Thank you. Movie tonight?"
"Of course,"
"Ill bring the roses."
