Mission: Evacuation

Xavier watched the Commander leave. Then turned to Tony. "So... lets hear it."

She shrugged. "I just wasn't sure you would understand."

"Understand what? I know you said you wouldn't date a patient." He replied. "I never thought i would be involved with a member of my crew, and here I am with two. Though one was before I became Captain."

"True. But ehm as you showed some interest in me when I came on board I was not sure you would understand." Gosh this was uncomfortable.

Xavier paused. "Perhaps I was a bit... upfront of my feelings, that I had." He continued. "One of the 'perk' being around Tal... shes the one who encourages me to be completely upfront about my feelings. Although I never thought you would have been assigned as my XO." He took another drink of his coffee. "Besides. I am married. And engaged. I have always believed that things happen for a reason. I am also a father. and an expectant father."

"Yes you are. And we still have to finish that therapy of yours. But we seem to be running from crisis to crisis right now and the time never seems right."

He groaned slightly. "I am sure there will be time for that after this mission."

"There had better be." She smiled. "but so far you are doing great. No outward signs of stress. I think I am more stressed right now with all that is going on with my family and a new relationship."

"With your father onboard you are handling it well... however I want you to talk to Lt Jenson... in an official Manner."

"She is my counsellor already." Tony said. "There is just so little time at the moment."

Xavier paused. "I believe it will take time for the Commander to decide what meal to surprise you with."

She could not help but smile. "I will make an appointment with Sky soon." She promised.

"Very well dismissed." Xavier replied

"Yes sir." She saluted but then smiled as she left.
