Mission:
Traitor amongst us?
Location: Various
Tony was close slowly coming round. She was a little confused about what had happened that day or what time of day it even was. She was in bed but dressed. And had no idea how she got there.
Pix was standing n the side of the bed as her BFF was just coming around, she brightened as Tony came more aware of what is going on around her. He hovered up into Tony's view.
"Tony, glad to see that you are coming around. Milton was working on putting the Mobile Medical Kit back in order. "Pix is a bit worried about you so we came by to see if we could help?"
"Wha... how did I get to bed. shouldn't I be on duty?" The day was really hazy right now and then suddenly it all came back and she gasped. "He fired me! Xavier fired me." Her heartrate shot through the roof.
Sky had arrived to check in with Pix and Rutherford, hearing Tony’s voice she was at her friend’s side in seconds. “Take a breath Tony, Relax. You haven’t been fired, you’re just on leave that’s all.”
"Same as if you had a flu or some other ailment that would put you off duty status." Milton agreed. "Once I have done my evaluation and we get you back to normal health you will be cleared for duty again." Milton loved not having to lie. "However I would like to get you into Sick Bay for quicker evaluation and treatment." He added. Quicker process if I have you where the medicines are rather than always having to come here, evaluate and the prescribe and administer." He chuckled. Best if you where I am to save travel time and get you back on duty."
Pix was on Tony's chest with arms open to offer a Pixie hug.
Tony stretched out her hand so Pix could hug it. It was something they had come up with together, the finger hug and it helped Tony regain some calm. Pix always had that effect on her. And hurting the little pixie was the last thing she wanted to do. Part of her did not want to go to sickbay but there was no other way. "We will have to move slow. I still don't feel so well and my head hurts." She warned.
“I know” Sky offered a smile. “I can feel it radiating off you. There’s always the transporter if you don’t feel up to walking to Sickbay?”
She wanted to protest and say that she could walk but Tony was really short of energy so she just nodded. "I think we'd better do that."
“If you’re happy with that Rutherford?” Sky looked towards him.
"But just inside the doors." Milton added. "I need to see her walk and coordination of lying on the biobed under her own power." He did not have to say much as Pix took off heading into the venting, she did not like transporters. "The affects of the extreme headaches and such need a bit of a check to assure they are not getting bad."

As soon as they materialized in sickbay Tony wobbled to the biobed and with some difficulty climbed onto it. She was glad to be able to rest again, the short trip had exhausted her.
Sky gave Rutherford a brief concerned look before looking towards Tony. “Don’t worry I’m not going anywhere.”
Tony just nodded. "Let's get this over with so I can get treated and try to get my life back."
"That is my job, making sure you get your life back in that body of yours." Milton replied. "Now if I am on the right track we might be having a bit of progress." He had a look of confidence. "Well at least at this moment putting a stop to what seems to be going on, neutralize the pathogen and stop it getting worst." He had a hypo ready. "If I am right, and we all know I have a good track record for that, this little bit of medical Alchemy will affect you in a bit as not so light headed, just stabilize you while I get the solution to purge the toxins." He winked. "Need a bit more mad Magician in the lab for that."
"You mean I am not going crazy? What do you mean, toxin? How did I get toxin in my body?"
Sky offered a gentle smile. “Stay calm Tony, give Rutherford a minute.”
"Most likely from someone touching you; the best toxins are more powerful if injected but that is invasive and usually unwanted so I would guess a Skin based toxin exchange." Milton replied. "Lucky is that you are the target and no one else should show symptoms and now that I can tell what it is we can get you better... promise."
"Poison..." Tony had to let that sink in. "I am not going crazy?"
Sky shook her head. “No Tony, you’re not going crazy!”
"Just about a any medicine in nature can Kill or Cure depending on toxicology of it; too much is toxic and called a poison. Finding that balance is the key, our body has toxin levels unhealthy. Once we break the parts that are toxic and neutralize them you will get better. That is what I am working on. What I gave you is like an anti-toxin in general and it should stop the spread. I need to be precise in purging your system and that is..." He snapped his fingers after a flurry and a flash in the air followed. "The trick of it all."
"Can I return to work in the mean time?" Tony asked.
"I did mention that I am trying to purge you of toxins, so not until then. Doctor's Orders on that one and not going to back down." Milton said with a warning glance. "WE have you stabilized and stopped the deterioration and effects, medicine is not like ordering health repair from the Replicator."
Tony nodded. She had been afraid of this. But at least they had something to work towards now and she was not going crazy.
