Meanwhile elsewhere

Mission: Starship Side Quest
Location: Somewhere secret
Timeline: Concurrent to events on the Resolution

Kara strolled quickly along the corridor PADD in hand, pausing at her master’s door she pressed the chime and waited for permission to enter. She had learned before not to walk in on him, punishment was usually swift. She waited until she heard the command to enter.

Entering Ichata’s quarters she walked over to him. “Forgive my intrusion Sir, I thought you’d want to know the Resolution is at Starbase Pegasus. The presence of both Soran and Counsellor Jansen-Carey....” she paused noting the change of name. “Interesting... anyway, they will be in your presence soon.”

Ichatha sat up on the padded table he was wearing a loose fitt robe that left nothing to the imagination, a young woman exited the chamber without making eye contact with Kara.

"Excellent." The orange skinned man said.

Kara watched as the young woman departed, before looking back at Ichata. “Was our newest recruit to your liking Sir? If not I’m sure I can find you another who is.” She had taken it upon herself to find females that would keep him entertained, more so to keep his mind off of her. She too had shared his bed, many times, the experience wasn’t always a pleasant one.

"Her massage skills are lacking, her mind is stimulating... put her in the sensory isolation chamber... Her fear will help me mold her into the weapon we need." Ichatha smirked. "Monsters are molded not born."

“Yes Sir” Kara nodded. “It seems Mrs Jansen-Carey is pregnant, with twins nonetheless! That could be an advantage to use against Soran, I doubt he’d be willing to risk harm coming to a pregnant woman.”

"Don't underestimate Wagnor," Ichatha sighed. "We need them alive."

He moved to the window looking out in the space. He rubbed his temple thoughtfully The shunt that had been put into his cranial cavity to save his life after his last encounter with that Angosian had left lasting effects. The nerve damage it had caused left him walking with a cane. He suffered from chronic headaches, he couldn't wait to have that man on a dissection table.

“I have already stated that fact to our people, they’ll be brought here alive, and as unharmed as is possible.” Kara watched Ichatha curiously. “Tell me about him Sir, you’ve spent years training me for this.”

"Don't overstate your importance!" He scoffed. "There are times when I wish I'd left you in that Talsion prison. You've been trained to do as your told, there's no grand purpose for any of my tools."

Kara stepped back a little. “Of course Sir, sorry Sir.”

"The Talsion war was a time of opportunity for me Talsions were using Letheans in their counter intelligence network. So the Angosians brought me in to train their spec ops against telepathic attacks. I found a way to put a trap their minds, in most cases the subject and telepath would become equally immobilized.  Somehow Wagnor was able to overcome the trap." Ichatha explained.

Kara listened not saying a word, taking in all she could learn. She had plans of her own, one day she would escape this hell hole and be free again.

"Do you think Admiral Decker will keep his word about getting our operation into their intelligence network?" Ichatha inquired. "Once he has the Angosians in the Federation what further reason does he have to keep us around?"

Kara shook her head. “I don’t know Sir, we’ve proved how good we are at what we do. How good you are Sir, I expect they’ll still find a use for us.”

"I'll have an auxiliary plan in the event that your Optimistic assessment of the situation is wrong. The Talsion's are in talks with the Dominion. I'm sure they would appreciate our talents."

Kara nodded. “Perhaps So Sir, no doubt we’ll find out in time.”

"Go prepare isolation chambers for our 'future guests." Ichatha said as he leaned on his cane.
