Mission:
Starship Side Quest
Location: Holodeck
Timeline: Current
Xavier finally was alone, no Tal, no Commander. He rubbed his hand, where his missing finger had been. His chest was tight, the pain knocking the wind out of him. This, hadn't happened for a long time. The last time it had happened was before he was referred to Tony to deal with his father. Now with Sky missing, although they haven't been together long, his love for her was as strong as for Tal.
"Computer, lock holodeck doors, authorization Carey alpha bravo charlie."
"Confirmed. Doors locked, authorization recognized."
He paused as he brought up the program. It was something he hadn't faced before. Something given to him, when he came back from the last mission. Who gave it to him, he didn't know. But he had only started it once. It was unlike anything he had ever seen, regarding holotechnology, and he himself didn't understand it. It was apparently ahead of its time, and he didn't know why anyone would want it. He knew he didn't.
The program materialized, before him stood a figure, a figure the last he seen, lay dead by his hand.
He brought up a scene of a beach, with a bench looking out into the water.
"I assume there is something going on." The figure replied as he stood at the waters edge.
"Things I don't understand. Things... I don't fully fathom." He started. "But thats not what I am here for."
Raising an eyebrow the figure walked over to the bench. "So..."
"Why did you do what you did. The spec ops. The covert, the... crimes and atrocities you commited."
He turned. "Whats this about?"
"One of my wives has been taken captive due to a special operations teams actions years ago. Now innocents are paying the price, because of knowlng someone."
"One of your wives. I couldn't even handle your mother." He replied. "Son... this... in war the innocent are always caught in the middle. Some wars are not as easy to see as others."
"You have no right to call me that after what you did." Xavier turned. "I have no idea how they transferred you over to a hologram... and I sure as hell don't know what the hell you are doing being sent to me... but you have no right to call me son."
"Then why did you start my program."
"The cardassians have joined an alliance with a force known as the dominion."
Looking out to the ocean. "This dominion... hostile..." He turned to Xavier, noticing the look on his face. "Thats not whats bothering you."
"My wife is missing, and shes carrying twins."
A grin came across his face. "Im going to be a papa."
"They won't know you exist, I will make sure of it. I am contemplating whether or not to delete you."
Turning back to the front. "You know I was not always the slaughterer of innocents."
"I don't care. I witnessed first hand what you are capable of." He paused. "Computer end program." He ordered as his father dissipated.
