There came a bang on an air vent; followed by a second and a third as though someone were trying to force the air vent out of the way. Upon a third impact the vent did give way as a soft glow surrounded a small person who flew into the room. Not needing to look about Pix had a trajectory towards 'Moxley' in a straight line with a arc at the last moment to come up short but hovering at eye level with him and slightly out of his Personal space a meter and some centimeters away.

Her bright grin was almost coy as she waved as to say 'Hi, I'm here.'

The old man frowned but then recognized the tiny being as his granddaughter's friend and he smiled his dazzling smile that he used on any species of women. "Be welcome my lady. I am honoured at your presence."

Pix had a little bit of curiosity, the Grand Father seemed a little more open to people; maybe even a flatterer in his younger days? Pix raised an eyebrow and laterally gave that coy look she had when trying to gauge how different a first impression Pix had this close?

She extended her right hand , flat with Palm up then pointed to 'Moxley' with a grinning nod.

He extended his hand for her and smiled some more. "I know you are good friends with my granddaughter and I do want to thank you for it. She needs her friends right now." His expression turned sad. As an old fashioned man it hurt him deeply that he could not protect the women in the family better.

Pix gently landed on his standing at her full 6 inch height, taking the moment to tilt her head this side and that while taking in she kind of chuckled a bit and with a casual wave of her hand as though to say 'Oh please' and she let him imagine Toni with Pix on her shoulder for a fraction of a moment to give the proper impression.

He sighed contently. "I thank you for that image. She looks so happy. I don't often see her happy anymore."

Pix shrugged her shoulders and brightly smiled as though this is no big deal and then look into his eyes, really seeming to ask him to answer the question as to what he really worried about with Toni?

"Toni's father, my son in law has been falsely accused of something and this has hurt her very deeply." He explained.

Pix lifted off and moved across the quarters to the small table for sitting, having refreshments and such. she pointed to a chair as she passed in route to the Replicator. She gave it a glance and her words; the soft tone of bells rang out but did little for her. She kicked the display near it the gave up to go to the table and gesture to the machine then to a seat like she were asking Moxley to get him something and take a seat with her at the table.

She sported a smile as though to admit she had tried but not succeeded.

Moxley could not help but laugh a little. "That must suck not being able to do that yourself. What would you like, my lady?"

With simple had signs she made a 'T-E-A' gesture.

Pix wished her little adapted keyboard that is in Both Her quarters and Toni's was more ship wide accessible to her.

"Alright. Touch my left hand if you want delicious cold southern ice tea and my right hand if you want english hot tea."

No hesitation in Pix and the left hand. Milton was a Southern Gentleman after all and her life is intertwined fully with his.

She touched his left hand and gave a proper courtsey.

"Splendid, you have taste." He smiled and guided her to the table. Then Moxley replicated a small glass of ice tea and put it before her. "There, it is pretty close to perfect this way. I hope you like it."

Pix gave him a smile, a nod and a wink before taking a sip.

"And? Do you like it? I had this one programmed in just like my grandmother used to make it."

A single nod told the agreement as she savored the drink and look him in the eyes. The pleasantries were past so now she could get to it. With a calming expression, rosy cheeks and eyes that seemed to sparkle like her constant glow she placed the tiny cup on the sauser as though waiting for his answer to the unspoken question of 'why is he worried?"

She lean back slightly in anticipation of the answer.

"I am worried about my granddaughter." He said somehow seeming to understand her question. "She may be in trouble as people seem to be using her to get to her father."

Pix shook her head and jungles sounded as she chuckled a bit. She used her right hand to shoot a gun then gesture a long arc to an 'O' with her index and thumb . The gesture was a type of 'Round about shot' in hand signals.

She straightened and look into his eyes with a slow and purposeful gesture of 'No' with a sly grin.

Pix thought of 'Her Rutherford' with an emotion of his not letting that happen that was undeniable.

"You are a darling, but you have no idea of the danger out there in the universe." He said. "but thank you for offering to help."

Pix did a gesture like encompassing the ship as if to say 'Really.' The following meeting of gazes just showed there is more behind her eyes than a pretty sparkle.

"Or maybe you do. I really hope you don't though. I know you will be there for Toni. Often she is too proud to ask for help, but it is very hard on her."

Her laugh had the jingle of bells as she covered her chest in a lady like manner and the echo of 'Duh' seemed to echo all about with the sound.

"I get the feeling that is no news to you, young lady." Moxley said with a smile. "Can you help?"

Pix nodded with a knowing grin and wink as though to imply 'that is why I am here... to heal like my Rutherford.'

"Good." He bowed at her. "I am very grateful."

Winking she expressed her understanding and the emotion of 'you are a softie too..."

"Well my dear princess, nobody would believe you. I have a somewhat negative reputation. Especially amongst women, it seems chivalry is truly dead."

Pix put her cup gently down then dart forward to be very 'eye to eye' with him, that sly raising of the eyebrow in disbelief and piercing gaze that seemed to look into his soul.

'Really...' she posed a thought laced with lack of belief.

"You see. I come from a very old fashioned family. And I was raised to treat women with respect but to also protect them. Most modern women seem to have a problem with that. Especially in my own family."

Pix concentrated as she gazed into his eyes, the mental fortitude to make the thought.

Females are not ladies anymore, Chivalry is to protect Ladies, not competitive women. She sought to pass along the impression women want to be equal to men and not special to men.

"It's hard for me, my lady." He admitted. "Very hard."

Pix hovered closer to run a caring hand softly along his cheek and a caring wink as if to imply 'Worthy things often are.

"I am thinking about it." Moxley admitted. "Although you know I really think I have always been fair to women in my command."

Pix hovered back where she could be better seen and shrugged as though he had stated the obvious conclusion then winked.

'Is there anything else I can get you." He asked. "I could cook southern cuisine for you. Not the replicated junk."

Pix gave him the most gracious Courtesy in acceptance of the offer and a smile that sparkled with her gratitude.
