Mission:
The Lost Brother
Location: sickbay
he was swimming in a sea of pain. It felt like his whole body was on fire and yet he could not claw his way to the surface try as he might. Melor moaned in his drugged stupor as he fought to open his eyes. Finally he managed to open them to slits and tried to orientate him to were he was. Yet drugged as he was he had no idea of his surroundings or how he got there.
Dacrcy had monitor duty as the display noted his stirring. The reading of the Meds show a potency that should keep him sedated but like all situation ofa new patient, general tolerances can be not in the physical realm of the patient. This was going to be a long night by the looks of it. Her trainers would love to get a look at a guy that could wake with enough thorzine sodium Solution to put two raging Klingons down in their tracks.
"Dash it all..." She sprang from her chair and dashed into the small Isolation room.
Darcy touched the edge of the door as she passed through and crossing to the drugs and quickly ran the Klingon physical tolerances table through her mind and decided it was best to do a physical check. The tricorder at her side was out and opened with probe in hand. The frontal lobes were responding, snapping the tricorder closed and probe back in place.
"I am Doctor Darcy Montane... " She said while getting into the personal space a bit. Can you hear me Sir..." SHe saw his lids starting to open but nowhere near fully. "You are on the Star Ship Resolution, you were adrift..."
Melor tried to speak but his throat was so dry that at first nothing came out but a rasp. "I...my.... others?" He managed to get out.
"I-I don't have any information, you were only one found in a shuttle." Montane explained and looked in his eyes. "You are the only patient in our Sick Bay."
He groaned. "I need to talk to your captain. There are people who need to be rescued."
"We are on a rescue mission ..." Montane said. "I can contact the Captain, but you need to calm down and rest, your surgeries and our repair of your body needs time to set. Now just relax and I will get the Captain only when you are calm enough for me to leave you for a moment or two."
He nodded with difficulty. "I am calm, doctor. Just get me the captain."
=^= Doctor Montane to Captain... I have a man in Sick Bay insisting on speaking to you. =^= Montane called over her comm-badge.
"Ill be there in a minute." He turned to Johnson. "You have the bridge Commander."
Within minutes he walked through the doors to the sickbay. "What do we have?"
Montane walked out of the Isolation Room to meet the Captain.
"Our new patient is awake and there seems to be some concerns about others missing and he is quite insistant on talking to you." She explained. "I thought it best he speak with you and maybe it will help him relax and the medicne regiment would work better when he is not as emotionally upset." SHe pointed to the Isolation Room. "He has some fortitude to be awake and aware at this point so I thought it important."
Nodding, he walked up to the isolation room. Pressing the intercom. "Commander you wanted to speak with me."
Melor focussed his eyes with some difficulty. He was getting tired. "Captain? Did you find... anyone else?"
"Not yet, thats why we are here."
"You have to save... too much at stake." He panted fighting against the pain and drowsiness. "Have to..."
"What us at stake?" Xavier replied, "We are going to save them, but i need to know what is at stake."
"Peace between our nations." Melor was getting tired and the pain... oh gods the pain. "Doctor give me something to keep me awake." He ordered. "Captain need to brief you fully. This is aimed at some people specifically to take out the ones who are for peace."
Turning to the doctor. "Do as he says... if peace is at stake... then we have to know more." He didn't understand this. People taking out proponents for peace... wanting war... usually there were teams that were around to do just the opposite.
Melor cried out from the pain that he felt throughout his body. But he had to hold out and get his message across.
"I don't dare give him milla droxide." SHe said as she keyed through the medicines. " Oxycodone should dull the pain for a bit but we will not have long to talk as he does need to be sedated to get proper rest for his body to heal."
"They will try to assasinate my grandfather and neutralize general Stoffels and admiral London.... don't .... know if others are on... hitlist. Must warn... must save..."
"Who are they? Klingons, federation, Dominion?"
"Not sure. Definately klingons, but I am afraid there are humans involved." The pain seared through him again. Warn..." He had to gasp for breath. "them."
"We already have, but General Stoffels is probably on the way... I may have someone who may have insight into it." He thought. "I may know someone who can help look into this."
"No...he should not come...too dangerous..." Melor got out. "Keep him safe."
"We are trying to stop him, but Tony says nothing will stop him. His wife has already went awol."
"Tony? You know Tony?"
"She is my first officer."
"She's here? Keep her safe!" Melor stressed.
"My plan Commander. Any more info?"
"No not now. Told you all I can."
"I am giving him Sodium Hydroxice Melatone." She gave the Captain a sharp look. Most powerful sedation I dare with Doc Milton's approvial." SHe warned. "I think it a good idea for you to leave and let him not have so much 'Outside Stimulation Sir." SHe gave a grin. "With respects Captain."
"Understood Dr. Thank you. Keep me appraised."
