Mission:
The Lost Brother
Location: Sickbay
Timeline: After advice
Xavier walked into the sickbay after his small chat with Tal. She was right, and he wanted to talk to the doctor about what had transpired. Looking around, he kind of was looking for Pix first before the Dr.
Another person had come into the Sick Bay, Pix came flying out from the storage room where the Doctor's office where he had been updating his paperwork and filing away information. Streaking across the distance she came up short to hover and smile to the Captain. Giving a polite courtesy as respect to him. the met his gaze and pointed to herself with the implied meaning of 'you called to me?
"hello Pix... Tal has been asking about you. Wanting to come in for a visit. Our quarters probably isnt safe. I am sure you would love the forest. Hiding spots. But, she likes it a little different than on duty."
Pix nodded and put her hands together happily. It had been a while since she had seen Talsi and Pix got very good vibrations from the woman. She gained a look of mischief and thought about the fact that Sky was part of their 'Family' also. It would be fun though to seem Talsi ; looking ito the Captain's eyes she made a gesture towards herself then the door . The 'Me to go now' kind of impression projected to him.
"I am sure she would like that Pix." Xavier smiled giving her the approval. "I just need to talk to the doctor about... what I believe to be a misunderstanding."
Pix gave a sweeping gesture towards the office and the with a wink darted towards a wall vent, her intent was obvious before she darted away.
"I wonder if I should warn Tal." He spoke silently to himself.
"Surprises never cease." Milton came around. "The Captain in my Lair without escort." Milton used a jovial tone. To what do I owe the pleasure of your company and sending Pix off ion a happy errand?"
"Just a chat about you and the chief security... there seems to be what I expect to be a misunderstanding on what transpired earlier..."
"That would be an understatement I believe." Milton said and gesture to his office. "And not likely a conversation you would like in the open Sick Bay?" He nod. "Privacy and some tea can do wonders Captain."
"Very well... its been ages since ive had a proper tea... tell me, replicated or home brewed?"
"Tut tut, only brewed in my Office. Though I use a medical Tricorder to scan good teas and food prior to replication, no random calculations in my replicated food." He chuckled as he led them into his office. "It would seem that the root of he problem might be my being focused and the other party not really liking Doctors from my first impression."
"I read his file, he does have a reason to dislike doctors. Old habits do die hard." Xavier replied as he followed. "However with this mission, and the way its going... you being focused is what we need. I would rather a focused doctor than the opposite." He took a seat in front of the desk.
"What do you think I was focusing on; going over what we know and trying to plan ahead." Milton said. "I will have to make more of an effort to not over think things.
"That is what I was meaning Doctor. You were focusing on what we need, and i think given the situation we are in, it can happen to any doctor. We are only human, overthinking is a trait we carry."
"I have made as much preliminary preparations that I can at this point. "Milton admitted. 'Next stage is just reacting to events as they happen."
Nodding, "Given how this mission is going... I would prep for more casualties, possibly more than just who we are going to rescue. I don't have a good feeling about it."
"The unknown always gives me that feeling, I just plan best I can and hope I am wrong." Milton replied. "Best anyone can do under the circumstances."
Xavier nodded, "That is the best and probably only plan of action that we have currently."
"I could not agree more." Milton agreed.
