Mission: Evacuation
Location: Tony's quarters

She was wrung out both physically and emotionally. Tony just sat on the couch and stared into nothing. Ren was working and she had told her parents she was tired and did not want their company. Right now Tony just really did not know what to do.

Making their way to Tony’s Quarters Kiara paused by the door giving Kayleigh a glance before pressing the door chime. She hoped Tony wouldn’t be annoyed at their sudden unannounced arrival.

"It's open." Tony shouted after a grunt. She was so not in the mood for company though.

Kay looked at Kiara and gestured for her to go first. Suddenly she was pretty nervous.

Walking in Kiara offered Tony a polite smile. “Commander, I apologise for the intrusion. I wanted to see how you were, and I brought along a friend.” She motioned to Kayleigh.

"Hiya Tone." Kayleigh said with a grin. "I just got on board."

Tony smiled and got to her feet to embrace the other woman. "I am so glad to see you safe, Leigh. I was worried."

"I am so sorry about your family." Kay said softly. All the Stoffels/Sorrel clan were close to her as well. "But Tone you look like hell." She turned to Kiara.

“How are you feeling Commander?” Kiara reaches into her bag and pulled out the medical tricorder. “May I?” She motioned to the tricorder.

"I know you can't find anything wrong. Diane wanted me to go to sickbay again but I am just having a nap. I feel funny."

Kay did not like what she was hearing and seeing. The Tony she saw before her was not the friend she had grown up. Tony always had fire in her eyes and they seemed eerily lifeness now.

“In that case all the more reason for a quick scan” Kiara tapped her tricorder, moving a little closer she ran a quick scan of Tony. “Hmmm your stress levels are way above where they should be Tony, have you been sleeping alright?”

"Of course not. I can't sleep. I lay awake worrying about my family. Look the doctor could not find anything wrong with me." Tony rubbed her tired eyes. "I will just nap and then... well maybe someone can use me."

Kay gave Kiara an extremely worried look. ~This is not her~ She mouthed to the other woman.

Kiara nodded. “I’m going to give you a low dose sedative, I want you to take it and I want you to get a nice long sleep.” She looked at Kay. “I understand you’re friends, so why don’t the two of you catch up? I’m sure that would do you some good.”

"Do you think there is something wrong with me? Or do you also think I am going crazy." Tony looked at Kiara directly.

Kiara shook her head.“I don’t think you’re crazy Tony. All I know is there’s something wrong, but I’m not picking up anything foreign in my scans. Just stress levels, combined with lack of sleep. You need to sleep or you will go crazy!”

Tony sighed. "I need to prove myself to the captain. He just fired me." Against her will she started to cry.

"Oh Tone." Kay came forward and put her arms around her friend. She signed to Kiara to make it a large dose of sedative. She could catch up with Tony later, what her old friend needed now was a lot of rest and as little stress as possible.

Kiara nodded and loaded a hypo from her bag. “You need some rest Tony.” With that she administered the hypo hoping that Tony could get the sleep she so desperately needed.

"Come on let's get you to bed." Kay said. "I will sit with you till you fall asleep."

Tony hung onto Kay as she kept crying as her friend led her into the bedroom.

Watching them go Kiara waited until they’d entered the bedroom before heading back to Sickbay, she needed to update Tony’s records. She just hoped she recovered soon.
