Mission: Starship Side Quest
Location: Various

LT Juravinski walked over to the Chief medical Officer of the Resolution. "If you accompany me Doctor, we will head to the medical bay." He gestured to the door to the left. "I have looked at your file, I must say I am impressed Doctor."

"Just doing the creed." Milton replied as he entered the lift. "A little observation and deductive reasoning will get you everywhere." He tried to be lighthearted. "How bad of a picture will I be looking at?" He thought for second. "Oh and that upgraded equipment that was ordered will be coming down by shuttles soon." He added. "I have a couple of my staff coming down to help with routine diagnostics and operational reviews if you need Once the OPS personnel install or replace older systems?"

"Much appreciated Dr." Juravinski replied. "The main hit was the computers obviously, however, there were some secondary systems affected, namely the ICU, a lot of the systems depend on the computers, with out them, we are placing bandaids over Niagara falls."


Milton looked over with some concern.

"We have small Computer Cores in the Shipment of replacement parts, they are fully programmed for Mobile Sick Bay use in Planetary Field Hospitals; I thought there might be some problems and with rebooting or repair it seemed prudent to have a set up for Battle Field Operations." Milton explained. "I thought it best to over think and A supply of field medicines in a second cargo drop just for cases like this."

"Good thinking, for the time being, is there a separate computer core that you can bring, if its a virus within the system... it may still be active."

"I heard they have a Computer Analyst on the team to purge and repair the computers; I will see that they send a person over to check and maybe purge the system." Milton suggested. "I think we will keep our new network internal until we figure that out."

"That sounds like a good plan," Juravinski replied as he made notes onto a padd. "I will have any of our people thats familiar with the computers, available to your disposal as well. Medical should be high priority."

"I can see we are going to work together famously." Milton grinned while typing on his PADD. "The chief OPS says some tech Riley is on site and will be coming over."

"Very good. Then once he gets there, we can get him to look at the old machines. And set up the new ones."

The shipment from the ship will take time, we can have the Analyst check and try purge old programming and maybe get a few of yours up faster than a remove and replace if it is only a Virus and swap out when the cargo is landed and unloaded then shipped from shuttle to Medical?" Milton posed an idea. "Get running and all while field techs sort and set up?"

"Sounds like you have already done this before." Juravinski replied as he wrote more on the padd. Tapping a few more buttons, he then handed the padd over to the doctor. "All permissions are open, just tell our men what you want. Its yours."

WHile they walked around the area Milton thought about what to do.

"I think teaming your people with the Resolution crew would be a good move in your people know the layout while my people know what the equipment and supplies are." He explained. "While unloading and set up having ground knowledge of the facility would make things go faster and get MY people more familiar with the place while helping out." He smiled. "Good old fashion Team work you might say."

"Team work is something my people know well."

"Then let the refit begin." Milton said with a diplomatic grin. "Look forawrd to the project."
