Time to help

Mission: Those who are left behind
Location: First Officer’s quarters

With Chloe and Connor’s feeding time fast approaching Sky had returned home with them, making sure they were both nursed and back to sleep before she headed to see Tony. Pausing outside Tony’s quarters she pushed the door chime.

"What!" Toni barked but calmed down when she saw it was Sky. "Come in." She returned to trying to pace a hole in the carpet of her living room.

“I thought I’d find you here pacing” Sky offered a smile as she walked in with Chloe and Connor who were asleep in their pushchair. “I heard what happened, want to talk?”

"Not really. I am more in the mood to smash something or someone." Toni said honestly but keeping her voice low.

“I know, that I can feel” Sky offered with a wry smile as she put the pushchair to the rear of the living area to allow the twins to sleep peacefully. “Come and sit down, let’s talk this through.”

"I am being set up. That smug intel bastard wants to get me and my dad. Hell I am not going to let him get away with it." She continued to pace. "I swear we have a traitor in our midst."

Sky nodded. “We both know that, but you blaming others and going off like a rocket isn’t going to help very much. If anything it'll just get you into trouble, plus you’re opening yourself up to being used as bait.”

"So what do you suggest?" Toni stopped for a moment, clearly still very frustrated.

“I suggest you take some time to cool down, so you can look at this with a level head.” Sky offered a smile. “I understand how you feel, I really do.”

"I have been trying to calm down for a while now and you see how successful that has been."

Sky nodded. “I do, but you’d be surprised how calming having 2 babies in the room can be” she grinned. “Tell me more about what was said, what are your thoughts?”

"You want me to babysit to get calm?" Toni laughed. "I could not do that to the poor babies." She sighed again. "It was the way he said it. Trust me he was completely out to get me. Was talking about having me locked up, out of contact with my family. He is out to get me."

“I don’t think Ryan would be out to get you Tony, if you want I can call him and have him come here? Either that or I can go talk to him.” She offered a look that more or less invited Tony to choose.

"He is still in sickbay." Toni said. "I can be there to see he does not manipulates you into believing him."

“If that’ll make you feel better?” Sky nodded. “But I will not have any arguments from either of you, I want pure facts. Hell I’m not even officially back at work yet.”

"Yes. And I will behave if he does. But if you don't feel up to it yet than please don't. I would be a bad therapist if I would force you into this stressful situation."

“Ohh I’m up to it” Sky smiled. “I’ll be returning to work soon, I just have family matters to attend to before then.” She motioned to the twins. “I’m not sure how to sort out my routine yet, but that’s a matter for another time.”

'Yes, I will help with that of course. But first I need this sorted."

“I know you do Tony, we’ll get to the bottom of this one way or another” Sky offered. “It’s going to take time and caution though.”

"Thank you." Toni smiled. "I think I will take a shower now, it usually helps me calm down a bit."
