Temper temper commander

Mission:
The Lost Brother
Location: Conference room
Timeline: After the briefing
Xavier waited until everyone was out of the room before turning to the two officers, he wasn't going to say anything but was just going to let Tony have her say. She deserved that.
"Permission to speak freely sir."
Nodding, "Never want you to stop."
"With respect sir. Why are you keeping me out of the mission briefing? I know all people involved best. I know how they think, what they may do. Why are you punishing me?"
"All due respect Tony, this isn't punishment. The problem is you 'ARE' too close. This isn't a punishment. We need clear headed. If we need you we will call for you, you have my word."
"Damn you! I am clearheaded! I am the expert you have, you CAN'T SHUT ME OUT!" She was shouting at the end of that sentence.
"This is not a discussion Commander. You need to stop and think would it be wise for someone to run in, emotions running high. Before this you didnt know that the admirals sons were part of the team. You havent had time to process. Take a couple of hours, sit back and take it in. Once Sky feels that you have taken it in fully and determines that you are fine. Then we will need your assistance. But you need to acknowledge the new bits of information."
"That's rich!" Tony sneered. "I have let you continue to work, I let Sky continue to work. And by the way I am the one who holds a doctorate in psychiatry. I have been fair to both of you and this is how you repay me? By pulling me off duty? It's MY brother out there and some of my best friends who are as close to brothers to me and you pick this moment to be a sanctimonious asshole."
Remaining calm. "Tony relax, and think what would you honestly do if the roles were reversed. Would you want me to go out all headstrung full of emotion or would you want me to relax, get a cool head and then tackle it when ive had time to... let things settle."
Sky was watching the exchange in surprise. She hadn’t seen Tony lose her cool like this before, they were definitely going to have to talk.
"Don't turn the tables on me. I have always given you slack, always. Sometimes against the wishes of my senior officers. I have laid my career on the line for you and I would have expected you to do the same for me. I always think clearheaded. Nothing comes in the way of my duty." She was fuming with anger and frustrations. "Why don't you just go f*() yourself." She started for the door.
“Just a minute Commander!” Sky stood up from her seat giving Tony a stern look. “That is no way to be speaking to your superior officer. As ship’s Counsellor I could recommend that you be pulled from duty for the foreseeable future..” She looked towards Xavier then back at Tony, “However, I don’t want to do that. Unless you’re going to force me?” She motioned for Tony to take a seat.
"Oh fine. Right gang up on me will you the bunch of you. That's why senior officers should not be in relationships with crew."
Isabelle sighed. “My relationship with Xavier has nothing to do with this Tony. My position as Chief Counsellor does!” She looked towards Xavier. “If you’ll excuse me Captain, I’ll leave the two of you to talk.”
"Don't bother Lieutenant I was going anyway." Tony had reached the door. So fuming with madness that it was hard to think.
"Enough Commander, it takes six hours to get to the planet they were last at. That is how long I'm asking you to take a break for." He knew this was unlike her, especially with this going on. Emotions were sky high, everyone knew that. "You are relieved commander. I will notify yiou when we arrive at the planet." He remained calm. Looking to sky he sighed.
Sky understood Xavier’s frustration, she looked towards Tony wondering what she’d say to that.
"Fine I will go and sit and stew in my quarters while you all plan how to rescue my brothers. Have it your way, I can't win." She stormed out and if she could have slammed the door it would have. Never in all her years had she been relieved from duty, the ultimate humiliation. How stupid had she been to think she could trust these people.
Sky looked at Xavier as Tony left the room. “Wow! That’s one hell of a temper! I’ll give Tony some time to cool off then I’ll talk to her.”
"That would be wise."Xavier replied. "Now I have to deal with other things."
