‘She’ awakes

Mission: Traitor amongst us?
Location: Sickbay

Soran materialized with Tony in his arms in the Sickbay isolation room, he placed her in the biobed. He pressed the intercom button, "I'm in here with Commander Stoffels, she needs attention."

The doors opened to reveal Kiara, she offered Soran a caring smile. “Don’t worry we’ll soon get Tony sorted, how was she before she arrived here?”

"She was in a barely rational and extremely fragile emotional state," Soran said. "It would be best if I'm not here when she wakes."

"Oh my goodness Pix." The Nurse said as she took the small one form Tony's grip and immediately headed for the Doctor's office and her small lounge behind his chair.

Kiara watched Pix go, before setting her sights back on Tony. “These readings are pretty high, these levels of stress can cause all sorts of problems for both the mind and body.”

Tony moaned and rolled her head.

"That is a very astute diagnosis." Milton came into the Lab, looking a little worst for wear but standing. "I would also suggest a full battery of tests and full blood work." Milton moved to stand near the biobed. "Pix and I sensed her pain and also her state of emotions." He glanced to Soran. "Do not worry, I will make sure she comes out of this, it is not quite as bad as it looks." It was not a lie, Tony remained in the early state of her condition, the pain and such only now setting in. "You can leave her to us and we will take care of her.

Tony blinked her eyes open to slits. "Ugh...what...?"

Kiara gently placed her hand on Tony’s shoulder. “Stay where you are Commander, you need to rest. You were in quite a state.”

She groaned. "It's just I blacked out there ..." Tony still had a headache. "I don't know what came over me."

“Right now you just need to lie there and relax” Kiara offered a gentle smile. “Let us run some tests, isn’t that right Doctor?” She looked at Rutherford.

"Lay still Tony." Rutherford instructed with a grin. "Let me run a small battery of scans that should give up an idea of what happened?"

Rutherford set the scans with another two setting higher sensitivity; he had a thought or two that might be a factor to her acting out of character, but the side for Sky is In the mind while all Rutherford could do it check the brain for eletro-impulse activity and if there is a slight imbalance in the blood work coming from the heart and lungs.

"Proper O2 levels..." Milton was reading the display. "Saline ph levels good, electrostatic discharges in the tolerable range..." Going down the list. "The iron content of the Blood is a little high, that could be agitating some of the pain centers." Looking to Kiara as he spoke. "Could you get me a hypo with 125milligram isopropyl with saline and 2cc's of Vitimin booster , seems she could eat better and maybe get some sleep might help?" He nodded to the nurse. "That should help break up the iron build up in the blood and help with general blood flow thus dissipating the building up levels from stress and the Migraine tendencies associated with Stress related physical conditions."

Kiara nodded and went to get the hypos Rutherford had requested. She returned to Tony’s bedside just as she started to stir.

"Can I go now?" Tony asked suddenly so very tired.

“Not yet I’m afraid Commander” Kiara smiled warmly as she administered the isopropyl with saline, then the vitamin booster. “Just relax there for me.

Soran sat in a chair in the waiting area, he wasn't sure what to do.

"She needs to take it easy for about 12 good hours of sleep." He spoke to Soran. "If she does not get it I will sent Pix over, she is pretty good at helping with restful sleep." He sighed. "That is once she regains her own bit of rest and recovery."

“Excuse me” Kiara smiled as she walked over to Soran and Rutherford. “The Commander is awake.”

"I will give her a final check; if she is not in danger I will put her on bedrest for 24 hours no duty, that little incident is either something serious or a woman at end of endurance. I hope she is just tired , the meds and some rest should tell the tale." Milton said as he went to check Tony.

Tag Soran , Kiara

He stood by the Biobed and checked the monitor before confirming a couple of guesses.

"Commander, Tony, I think you are pushing yourself; we had this conversation a bit ago and Even Pix has urged you to get more rest. You are under 24 hour bedrest; meaning no duty and if you get headaches you see me right away or I will put My Medical clearances to have you rest under my watch." He winked. "So take my advice and rest unit tomorrow."

"Yes doctor, thank you. You mean I can go?" That did surprise her a little.

"If I keep you in Sick Bay will it ease your stress; I think your own quarters would be more relaxing and give you better rest." He grinned. "You knocked Pix cold." He had a serious look. "You blow any more stress signs and I 'Will' medically pull you from duty, I have what I need to do so." He nod. "24 hours rest or a week an isolation room with the lights out and lullaby's plying on continuous loop. I am making myself clear Tony?"

"Yes sir." She said meekly. "Thank you. And please tell Pix how sorry I am."

"I will pass it along." Milton was not going to upset Tony by telling her Pix was down for the count and Milton would check on her after he is sure Tony is under care and heading home to rest.

"Thanks doc. I will do what you asked." It scared her what had happened and how groggy she still felt. But she would get out of here under her own steam and not scare people more today.

Soran got up and moved to Tony's side, he silently offered her his arm.
