Mission:
Starship Side Quest
Location: Planet- Lantea
Timeline: Current
When the group materialized, they stood alongside the cargo, they had transported to the location indicated from the planet. Stood in the corner stood various people, including head of starfleet operations of Lantea, as well as the head of medical. The others, Xavier could only guess would be the people handling the reparations along with the Crew arriving.
"Thank you for coming Captain, I know its not procedure for the Captain of a starship to join an away team. I am Commodore Horton I oversee all starfleet operations on Lantea."
"Been a while since I actually was off ship for a mission." He agreed. "However I think this should be one thats a little run of the mill." He turned to his officers. "My officers Lt Commander Rinne, my chief security, Lt Rutherford Chief Medical officer, Lt Rendar, Chief Tactical, Lt Hamilton, Chief Engineer, Lt Tar-Lexros Chief Operations, and Lt Commander Pallara Intelligence Officer, 1st Lt Kayleigh London marine medic."
Melor nodded at the commodore while he hid a smile as he saw Kay beam at being called a marine medic and not a shrink.
Nodding to those present. "The medical side of things will be seen to by Lt Juravinski. She will be at Lt Rutherfords beck and call until things are over. Engineering and Operations side will be seen by Commander Shran... Security and tactical will be two phases... the orbital defense platforms, and the security systems down here. Will be handled by Commander Nelson."
"Where do you want me, sir?" Kay asked. As a marine she was not really part of any of the departments except for counselling and she could add some security anywhere. She could see that Melor was itching to ask the same thing but he was too polite to.
Etan nodded at the Commodore, then looked to Commander Shran. He brought over the PADD and showed it to his planetary counterpart. "We've fulfilled your resource requests. Thank you for making sure you have clearly-marked transport spots. My teams are ready and transported directly to their equipment staging areas, they're waiting to liaise with your people and make sure we're all on the same page, sir. Damage control and repair ops should be ready to go shortly. We've ticketed out everything you gave us and prioritized it based on criticality of system. I brought down a container of life belts for use in the underwater repairs. That way, we don't need to worry about rebreathers or EVA suits." It was obvious that Etan, for all his insecurity and normal nerves, was actually handling this situation well; at least for now. It suited his experience, since it was just a series of logical repairs.
Shran looked over the padd, "More thorough than I would have expected." He agreed as he looked over the supplies, "I see you have accounted for anything unexpected. If your group will accompany me, we will get to it immediately."
Looking over at the Intelligence Officer, and then back to the Captain. "We have some things to discuss in private." The Commodore replied as he looked over the officers. "I would like some of your security to accompany all teams."
Xavier raised an eyebrow. "Expecting trouble sir?"
"Just being cautious."
"Very well. Lt can you accompany the engineering team?"
"Yes sir." Kay said crisply. "I am all yours." She then said with a grin to the engineering party.

"Where would you like me to go, sir?" Melor then asked his captain.
Aalis looked over at her husband as he went with the engineering party, and she remained there next to the Captain. She wasn't about to let him out of her sight.
"The wounded or those affected are Not getting better I presume?" Milton stated as Pix poked her head and shoulders out of his pocket.
"We got lucky if you want to call it that..." Horton replied as he looked over at the doctor. "It could have been a lot worst than it is. But you are right. With the majority of the consoles fried. And a short staffed medical facility. Its been difficult." He turned back to the Captain. "We will also request your security chief to attend the meeting. There is... rumours of a security threat. This can be just a coincidence, but all our systems shouldn't have fried as they have."
"I have several nurses on stand by to come down if you can use the help?" Milton said as Pic was shoulder out of his pocket looking about, instinctively looking in the direction she felt the wounded.
Pix was out of the pocket and just angling for her to dart in the direction she had felt 'Pain' like she always does on the ship. Being the strong empath that she is , the waves of discomfort hurt her to a degree, negative emotions are not her favorite, she lived more off happy thoughts and while in pain those kind of projections are not as present.
"Doctor, you know specific people, want to contact the ship and get them down here." Xavier turned to the Doctor. "If you want to get started Commodore, we can set things up and head to our jobs."
"Very well, this way Captain..." He replied as motioned for the other of his men to take care of the teams they were responsible for.
