Toni was checking her suit for the last time to make sure everything was in order and then looked over her small team.

"Remember to stick together. We don't know how much resistance we will face once we board the ship. Our aim is to get as many survivors off as we can."

Tony Johnson had just returned from his own trip and the last of the survivors were being hauled off to sickbay. Speaking with one of the crewman, they informed him that the Executive Officer was on her way to pick up prisoners/survivors. "Do you need an extra hand or additional ship to come along?"

"Yes I can use a hand." Tony said. "We have reports of survivors on the enemy ships and we are going in to get them."

The door open as a human walked through in a suit all ready prepped, he looked to be in his mid twenties with close cropped blonde hair surrounding an oval face with high cheeks and a jovial expression. Helmet under his right arm; medical satchel slung over his left with phaser on the right thigh. He had used some hustle to get ready and the meeting area.

"Ensign Richards, Field Medic reporting Commander." He was not out of breathe but did seem rearing to go. "This is the Away Team goiin off ship right?"

"Yes, it is Ensign."

"Suit up, both of you." Toni said. The security team was already doing so. "Make sure you are armed and ready for anything. Our transporters are overloaded right now so we will have to evacuate by shuttle."

"Do I need to bring the other shuttle or pile in with you all?" Johnson asked.

Toni checked her padd. "If we can secure all those that seem to be alive up there it is not going to fit into one shuttle. So if there is one more we can use then yes. But we need to get going now, they are losing their life support soon."

Commander Johnson turned his attention back to his team that had just returned. "Alright everyone back on board. We have another run to make." He quickly turned around and made their way back on the shuttle. "We'll see you over there."

Toni nodded. "Thank you, we will see you over there."

Half an hour later she and her team entered the enemy ship weapons at the ready. "Remember." She told the medical staff again, "Do not treat any patients until security clear you to do so."

Ensign Cobal had taken the shuttle over with the Executive Officer. Looking to the security personnel, he gave them a knowing look. Then turned to the Commander. "We're ready to move when you are."

Coming up from the rear was Johnson, Bhalet and a six security personnel and two nurse arriving from their shuttle.

Richards has the tricorder with muted sounds so not to give them away while they move. Checking his surroundings he was not the one to protect so he made sure to not be a risk for Security.

Toni set up a central command post in a secure area so she could oversee the evacuation and coordinate without getting in the way of her teams who were doing the real work.

Standing next to the Commander, the Chief Strategic Operations Officer waited on the marching orders to everyone would be sent off to. The rescue on the other ship was handled differently. In an out as quickly as possible. On this ship, they could take their time with the recovery.

Toni looked at him. "Anything on your mind, commander?" Toni asked while keeping an eye on the operation.

"Awaiting your orders," he answered.

"Help where you can, commander." She said. "I want as many people evacuated as possible while keeping our own people safe."

Turning to his people that have been waiting, he passed on the instructions and they began to move. Goda then quickly came from around the corner. "Commander we have word of some Jem'Hadar hold up in a defense position on deck twenty two. Their dug in deep and refusing to surrender."

Security Officer Tissel had his compact Rifle at the ready; this model with shorter barrel was designed for more Close Quarter or Commando Actions. On his back belt he carried four stun grenades for pacification in the event while in a Combat Zone it might be required to 'Repel Boarders.'

"Might a couple of these soften them up?" He asked with a nod.

"You have my permission to use force." Toni said. They did not have the time for diplomacy right now. If people did not want to be rescued there was nothing she could do.

Taking a calming second to glance in the direction of where he wanted the Stun to go off Tissel readied himself then lobbed the Grenade before turning away from the flash.

"Time to earn pay." Tissel said just as he moved forward with his rifle at the ready.

The funny thing about Jem'Hadar, when stunned they are quite visible, a few good 'shots' to make sure they stay stunned would not hurt. A quick check then he motioned the others to follow him as he advanced.

Goda followed with Tony Johnson behind and several other security personnel followed.

A shadowy figure had been watching the group of federation officers and when the one lone woman was left after groups had been sent out to probably go round the ship and kill everyone he acted by creeping up on her and strangle her.

"Everyone keep an eye out," Tony whispered. "More of our people are out here somewhere. Those troops back there were there to keep us from getting to them."

Having accompanied the team as part of the medical contingent Kiara was keeping her eyes peeled for any sign of trouble. Her empathic senses were alert but she was picking up on a whole jumble of emotions.

Toni fought for all she was worth trying to get out of the grip the enemy had on her. But this one was good, it tried to kill her without her being able to make a sound. She desperately tried to get a sound out or find anything she could use to free herself or get a sound out to her troops that she was in trouble. She tried until it became black before her eyes and she slumped to the floor.

Tapping his commbadge, Tony felt it a good time to check in with the command post. "Johnson to Commander Stoffels."

He was met with silence.

Tapping his badge, Tony made the call again. Once again dead silence. "I got a bad feeling, let's move back to the command centre."

It didn't take long for the group to return to the centre. Looking around, Johnson tried to find the Commander.

“She’s here somewhere I can feel her” Kiara looked around. “I don’t think we’re alone...”

Kiara had barely stopped talking when phaser fire rang out and barely missed the small group.

One of the security guards shoved the nurse out of the way and started to return fire.

Kiara crouched down before spotting Antonia across the room. “I can see the Commander! She’s over there!” She motioned to where Toni was lying.

Consciousness was slowly returning to Toni but her head felt strange and stuffy and her neck hurt like hell.

“I have to get over there” Kiara looked around seeing a route she could take, although it would leave her out in the open just before reaching Toni. “I’m going for it..” she didn’t wait instead she started moving behind what cover she had.

It was a bit of a miracle but all the return fire missed Kiara so she made it safely to Toni's side.

Arriving at Toni’s side Kiara pulled out her medical tricorder and a hypo of pain relief. “Commander, can you hear me?”

Toni groaned still not really completely concious.

Running a quick scan Kiara pulled out a different hypo gently pressing it to Toni’s neck. The adrenaline in it would help to bring Toni around faster so they could get the hell out of dodge.

"What the..." Toni croaked but her voice did not seem to work well and breathing hurt. But she was getting her wits back.

“Gently Commander, take your time” Kiara offered a smile. “I gave you a shot of adrenaline to wake you up faster, but it’ll hit you like a ton of bricks when it wears off. We need to get to cover where can I assess you better.”

"Ye..." Again she could not finish the words but she scrambled to her feet and her brain and eyes tried to work together to find a safe spot for them both.

“Like I said a temporary reprieve” Kiara picked up her things and looked around. “I came that way, there’s plenty of cover.”

Toni nodded and then motioned for the nurse to follow her. Thankfully her legs were working.

Kiara followed keeping a close eye on Toni. The sooner they were all back aboard ship the better she would feel.

"status report." Toni croacked at Johnson.

"We have the attacker pinned down," Johnson responded. "You should clear to safely move the Commander now."

"Carry on, you have command." Toni managed to get out barely understandable. She agreed fully that she was in no condition to lead right now and allowed others to secure her in a relatively safe spot.

"Understood. Everyone on me."

A few minutes later the team returned dragging back an unconscious Jem'Hadar. Judging from the look of him, he was likely an Elder. To evade capture, he was coming close to taking his own life when stunned several times.

By now Toni had a PADD to type stuff on as she still could not talk through her damaged throat. *Great job.* She typed. *Let's head back to the ship.*

Commander had Johnson nodded in agreement as he checked out the restraints on their prisoner. He had heard quite a bit about the Jem'Hadar, especially the Elders. But no idea, just how deadly one could be. Most slowed down and were a bit softer with age. The Jem'Hadar seemed to be a little more deadlier. The younger ones, he encountered didn't think much, just attacked. This Elder did a lot of thinking and every move from him had purpose. "Hold on everyone. This guy did everything to gain our attention. Fan out and start searching, he was trying to keep us from something."

The team began to find out and start searching nearby. A few minutes later, Ensign Cobal returned with two officers who had a Vorta bound. "Commander Stoffels, I believe we found out who he was trying to protect."

Toni gave the thumbs up signal and then typed. *That is a great catch. Let's secure him and get him back to the ship.*
